TRAINING FOR TEACHERS TO PROMOTE QUALITY EDUCATION -

 

A good teacher know how to deliver a meaningful and healthy knowledge to his students. Teaching is a very noble profession and those who are associated with this profession should know their responsibility. They should realize that the whole future of many students depend on them. They should keep working hard to update and improve their knowledge so the latest information can be transferred to students. A good teacher is someone who keeps balance in everything , try to learn new thing, and keep working on himself by learning new skills , new courses and by reading latest books. inspite of all this the authorities should arrange the proper training programme for teachers after every few months. 

Teaching methods should be taught and should be made easy or convenient. The lecture delivery method should be simple and easy to understand for person. One more important thing is a teacher should keep the environment of classroom very balanced and cool. There should be no favouritism , no fights and make sure that every one is living in a very peaceful and learning environment.

To assess the participation of student in classroom a teacher can ask any student to present any topic in front of class. This not only good for the whole class but for the student too that it can boost their confidence level and learning ability.

NO POLITICS IN CLASSROOM:

Teachers should maintain the peaceful environment in classroom. In higher education institute one bad thing is seen that students are badly indulge in politics and there is grouping system in class between two different political groups. Sometimes their conflicts convert into personal clashes and it bears irreparable losses. Teachers should be given training to completely discourage any political activity in class room and strict action should be taken against those who are involve in such activities. No one should be allowed to destroy the peace of classroom. If there is any head or member in officials that is promoting political culture then teachers should know the method that how to complain about such persons. Student have a right to study in a completely calm , balanced and healthy environment.

TEACHERS SHOULD STAY NEUTRAL:

One important thing for teachers that they must keep in mind if they should stay neutral and no one should be given any favour if he does not deserve just because a teacher have soft corner for the specific student because of his social influence , personal relation or some other reason. In class room every student is equal . nobody should be judged on the basis of cast , color and creed. The only parameter to judge student and for grading is their performance in tests or assessments.Teachers should be told about the negative aspect of favouritism and its consequences on the performance and mental health of student. They should be warned of strict action will be taken against them in case of any bias grading or favouritism.

RESULT WITHOUT ANY BIAS:

For many teachers results are the simple things but for students this is the matter of life. One small error or bias can ruin the whole life for a student because in young age and in our system marks matters a lot. Many teachers in hurry or to favour someone can create bias while compiling result. Proper training and warning should be given to teacher about fair grading and assessment marks for students. There should be fair result otherwise there should be strict laws to impose. Schools should recheck papers to confirm the result before announcement so the chances of bias and error can be decreased. Teachers should be very careful in giving marks. Deserving students should be given their accurate result without any error. that’s why different assessment protocols should be taught to teachers and proper training should be given to them.

EXTRA KNOWLEDGE OTHER THAN COURSE WORK:

Special training should be given to teachers for delivering extra knowledge to students as well. For example try to teach them some good quotes or some moral stories. You can begin your day with one religious quote or by discussing a good habit. You can start reading a moral learning book in class and daily can read some lines. This way can not only develop good thoughts in students but they can excel more good in studies too because when the dry and boring method of full time teaching course work is used for students , they become bore and exhausted. This effect their learning capacity as well. So you should try to add some extra meaningful conversation in your lecture to make it less boring for students.

TEACHER STUDENT RELATIONSHIP:

This should must be a part of training where the teachers should be given instructions about teacher student relationship. Teachers should understand the fact that there is a gap between teacher and students and no limits should be crossed. There should be a bond of kindness but not the friendly behaviour should be there in teacher otherwise it can affect the studies of students and their performance. There should not be personal relation between students and teachers. No gifts should be accepted by teachers given from the students for the sake of favouritism or as a bribe for good results or grades. No personal favour should be given to students by teacher.
