The concept of online education is not from ancient times. This concept has evolved more commonly in last decade. Earlier online educated was limited for international students for some online conferences or seminars but later on when the world was under the wave of corona pandemic COVID-19, the whole world was affected and restricted. There was an emergency everywhere. The normal life was almost paralyzed. People could not move freely even to their work place or educational institutes. Comfortable environment can be enjoyed by students in online learning, as the students are not restricted to the walls of classroom or limited to a building with strict rules and laws . online education can be obtained in a very comfortable environment without any strict action or rule. In online education we can save time for travelling. A student in online education feels isolated sometimes. He has no group of friends or class fellows with him so there are no gossips or enjoyment or even no one to help in studies. So , students feel themselves alone and misses the company of their friends who can help and have fun together.LOW SENSE OF COMPETITION:
There is lack in sense of competition in online education. There are not so many students who motivate to study . a student when find no competition then he may feel lazy and do not push himself to study harder and to work to achieve the goals as soon as possible. Even in assignments ,the time table is not followed properly. Student has no one to compete because there is nobody who can push him to work harder and to defeat other students by good grades.CHEATING:
Unfortunately there is a high risk of cheating in online exams. Students have so many tactics to do cheating through different gadgets or books. This is the reason that why students have good academic records but when ask them something to do practically they fail because of the lack of knowledge. that’s why it is suggested to take measure where the cheating can be minimized or to bring some anti cheating system in online education.THEORY IS GIVEN PRIORITY:
In online learning as there are not much concentration given on practical work ,the instructors keep teaching theory . this is the reason that a student have good communication solutions but not practical ones for a problem. There should be balance between theoretical knowledge as well as practical work.SO, in this article we discussed some of the main pros and cons of online classes and education learning that students face. In this modern era more and more platforms for online educations should be created so more students can get benefit from it or it can become more easier for them to achieve their goals.
The authorities from institutes should have their proper attention toward online education and should work on make it trustworthy. quality education should be given to students and there should be no compromise on studies. Strict laws for prevention from cheating should also be introduced.
